MonaLisa Touch®: A Novel Laser for Gynecologic Health

Millions of women experience changes to their gynecologic health that affect their personal lives as a consequence. Now there’s a solution! MonaLisa Touch® is a simple, proven laser to help you feel like yourself again.

MonaLisa Touch uses fractional laser technology to ablate small micro-columns of tissue. This leaves an ecosystem of healthy unaffected tissue to support rapid healing.

What to expect during the procedure:

The vaginal canal will be numb. A probe is inserted into the vaginal canal and turned slowly and gently clockwise and counterclockwise as the laser fires, once all the paths have been completed the probe is removed. You may feel some pressure but no pain throughout the treatment. The treatment is about 15 minutes. There is no down time. We will provide post care procedures.

What to expect after:

There shouldn’t be any pain afterwards. You might have a slight discharge. Most have noticed immediate tightening of the vaginal wall and a significant reduction and leakage. Most have reported an increase of sensation during sex, less dryness, PH balance, less UTI’s and bladder issues, decrease in pelvic floor pain. Post care will be given to you.

CO2 Facials with MonaLisa Touch

MonaLisa Touch is also used for CO2 facial laser resurfacing. It uses targeted beams of light to remove the superficial layer of your skin.

How does CO2 laser resurfacing work?

C02 laser resurfacing uses pulses of laser light. These beams penetrate the skin’s surface, where water in the skin cells absorbs them.

When this happens, the epidermis, or superficial layer of your skin, is vaporized. The dermis, or middle layer, heats up, stimulating the growth of new collagen fibers. As the area heals, new firmer, smoother skin replaces the old layers.

During CO2 laser resurfacing, a cosmetic surgeon or dermatologist can target specific areas of your skin with precision, so the treatment won’t affect the rest of the skin nearby.

What to expect during the procedure:

The area will be numbed. Occasionally you may feel a pin prick and those more sensitive areas like around the eyes and mouth. The sound of the laser can be startling at times since the object is so close to your face. The treatment takes about 20 minutes.

What to expect after:

The first 5 days are where most of the healing process is. Sleeping can be difficult, you may be red, swollen and itchy and may burn slightly at times. Refrain from direct sunlight for 2 weeks, most are fully healed within 14 days.

CO2 Facials with MonaLisa Touch will transform your skin.
