Stretch Benefits
Pain Management
Assisted stretching helps alleviate muscle tension, reducing pain, both in muscles and joints. This can help with the management of chronic conditions.
Professional stretching increases your range of motion and flexibility – making routine tasks easier and improving your feeling of well-being.
Enhanced Flexibility
Increased Circulation
Assisted stretching promotes better blood flow, allowing for better oxygenation and nutrient delivery – necessary resources for optimal function and healing.
By correcting muscle imbalances, assisted stretching promotes better posture, allowing you to experience less pain and feel more confident.
Improved Posture
Injury Prevention
Assisted stretching can improve muscle strength and balance, which can help prevent injuries caused by muscle tightness or weak muscles to keep you injury free.
Stretching benefits both your physical well-being and your mental health, as it allows the blood and oxygen to flow better, improving mental clarity and providing a more relaxed nervous system.

The medicine behind the imporantance of Stretching
By looking at flexibility improvement through the fascial system model, a deeper understanding of the way tension governs the structure of the human body can be attained. The ideal state of flexibility is one where range of motion is optimized, but where the body is not overly flexible. The myofascia of the body is responsible for providing adequate tension to maintain posture. When myofascia is too extensible it can be just as problematic as muscles that lack extensibility.
Stretching is the practice of increasing the extensibility of muscles and fascia throughout the body. By improving myofascial extensibility, flexibility and mobility are improved, further assisting in the improvement of the body’s overall range of motion. Repeated bouts of stretching have been shown to increase stretch tolerance, reducing soft tissue resistance to stretching and, after prolonged practice, taking root as long-lasting improvements in flexibility.
Having optimal flexibility and range of motion impacts more than just physical performance. When the myofascia lacks optimal flexibility, the nervous system is also affected, leading to broader reductions in overall proprioception and motor control. By maintaining an optimally flexible condition, all systems of the body (nervous, myofascial, skeletal, and even visceral) are able to communicate and integrate in the most efficient manner.
